DOLLY SODS WILDERNESS | CASEY+ANDREW

A day in Dolly Sods is always a good day. There are so many beautiful views and hikes. Casey+Andrew wanted a day to hike and celebrate their love with their sweet pup, Sully, with them along the way. They had another ceremony a couple weeks later with family + friends, so this was just a way to show each other how much they mean to each other in a beautiful place.

We started at a beautiful cabin in Dolly Sods and then headed out for a hike that was about 5 miles round trip. Once we hiked to the overlook, it’s breathtaking. The hike was super muddy, but we didn’t see one person along the way, so it was pretty perfect and quiet along the way. It was raining a bit and the skies were crazy. It was sunny, cloudy, rainy, hot, and cold all within a little bit of time.

They had a sweet ceremony, with poems and personal vows, followed by some sweet treats and champagne (always good after a good hike for sure). We hiked back to the cars and then headed to Bear Rocks before a big storm came in. The temps dropped and it got crazy windy, but we were able to grab some images with the moon.

It was a perfect way to celebrate their love and we are so thankful to have been there for it all. Congrats you two!
