When we first chatted with Alex+Chris, we knew their day would be amazing. They were planning on a relaxed day with their friends and family to celebrate their love. Covid changed a lot of things, and they had to reschedule and change their entire day.
They were amazing through the entire process and having to change things up and their day was insanely awesome. They decided to have their wedding party there for the day and just make it a day to celebrate their love with their closest friends (and that include’s Alex’s twin sister) there. We have had a bunch of twins as clients and it’s always fun to hear their stories and see how close they all are with each other.
The ladies got ready with some fun music playing and the guys got ready across the hall, which was perfect for going back and forth. We all headed to Swallow Falls, where we knew it would be crazy packed with all the fall leaves. We walked all over to take photos at some of the best waterfall locations and the water was low enough to get some awesome photos from below some of the big spots.
After that, we headed to the top of Wisp for some sunset photos. It was an insanely awesome bright orange sunset and we took some more photos, including some champagne popping ones. So fun!
As the sun went down, Chris had a sweet surprise for Alex. He created a cookie table for Alex (if you haven’t heard of those, it’s VERY popular in Pennsylvania and the table always features a TON of cookies for guests to snack on at weddings). So sweet, literally.
Everyone got into comfy clothes and headed down to the fire pit to snack on s’mores, eat some awesome pizza, and sip some drinks. There were lots of laughs and it was so wonderful to see everyone having an amazing time together. Even if their plans changed a bit, it was still so meaningful and a time to remember.
Alex+Chris, we are so happy we got to know you both and all of your friends. You guys are all so amazing, kind, funny and we are so happy for your future together. Thank you so much for having us capture all the moments of this day for you.
