WV ADVENTURE + CAMPING INTIMATE WEDDING | CATT+MIKE

We knew from when we first talked to Catt+Mike and after getting to know them more on their adventurous engagement session, that their unique and intimate wedding day was going to be spectacular. They wanted to hike. They wanted to camp. They wanted to create something so meaningful and laid back for themselves and for their friends and family. They wanted a wedding day that was so different and we were all about it.

The day started out so gorgeous and sunny, despite previous days of nonstop rain. We hung out with them at their cabins in Davis, West Virginia. There were so many laughs and sweet moments. We then headed to their first look at one of their favorite camping spots. Everyone grabbed some snacks and drinks and then we headed out to a nearby trailhead for a group hike to an epic overlook. Along the way, we hit lots of mud, but it didn’t stop anyone and Catt even got ready out among the trees (and her friends).

The ceremony was filled with so much love. They told each other how much they love each other and you could feel all the emotions. We spent a bit out on the rock and everyone celebrated with each other, before heading back to the trailhead.

Intimate wedding dinners always create more of a sense of family (even if some of the guests aren’t family) and that’s how it should be. Everyone at dinner talked and laughed with each other and connected and were there to celebrate Catt+Mike’s love for each other.

Catt+Mike, we are so unbelievably happy for you both! Thank you for including us in your special day. We are so happy you did exactly what you wanted. We are so excited for your adventure in life, together.
