BLACKWATER FALLS INTIMATE WEDDING | ALLIE+MATT

We always love Blackwater Falls intimate weddings and elopements, but Allie+Matt made the day so memorable. There were so many tears and heartfelt moments during the day. We loved getting to know them and their friends and family too along the way.

The two met in high school (so sweet!). Allie said, “We met in high school! Our families live less than 1 mile from each other and we grew up in the same town. We became friends in 2011 when we were cast opposite each other in a musical “Anything Goes.” We then started dating later that year before doing 6 years of long distance for college.” That’s such a fun story!!

We have to mention that Allie has such a gift for organization and design. The dried flowers, the details, the design…it was all so gorgeous and meaningful and perfect for the time of year. Seriously, she had everything planned out to a T. Matt got ready at The Billy and Allie got ready at a beautiful home in Canaan Valley. We met up for the first look at Lindy Point (one of our favs), where they could say their vows to each other. It was so special and sweet and there were so many emotions.

The ceremony, at Pendleton Point was perfect too. We headed to the Elakala Falls for some more photos and then back to The Billy for the dinner. The Billy was the perfect spot for an intimate wedding and always has such great food, drinks and ambiance. Their dances were so sweet! We rushed out to Pendleton Point after to get some sunset photos and it was absolutely beautiful! So glad we made it in time!

We had such an amazing time, witnessing so much love from their family and friends and each other. We are so happy for A+M and their future together! They are so kind and we’re so thankful we were there on such a beautiful day!
